The Opportunity

As the Boutique Manager, you will be the ultimate brand ambassador and the driving force behind the success of our Marseille location. You will be entrusted with building an elite team, curating an unparalleled in-store atmosphere, and cultivating a loyal clientele from the local community and international visitors alike. We are looking for a visionary leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep passion for luxury, ready to establish our boutique as the definitive destination for high fashion in the South of France.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of style advisors, ensuring they embody our brand values and service standards.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
  • Manage team schedules, set individual performance goals (KPIs), and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Client Experience & Business Development:
  • Champion an exceptional, personalized client journey from welcome to post-purchase follow-up.
  • Develop and execute a strategic clienteling program to build lasting relationships with VIPs and high-potential clients.
  • Act as the primary brand ambassador in Marseille, networking within the local community to enhance brand visibility and drive client acquisition.
  • Plan and host exclusive in-store events, private appointments, and trunk shows.
• Store Performance & Operations:
  • Assume full accountability for the boutique’s P&L, driving sales to meet and exceed targets.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee all daily operations, including inventory management, stock control, and cash flow.
  • Ensure the boutique’s visual merchandising is immaculate and consistently aligned with global brand directives.
  • Guarantee compliance with all company policies, procedures, and security standards.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, with at least 2-3 years in the luxury fashion, fine jewellery, or high-end hospitality sector.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful sales team. You lead by example and inspire excellence.
• Business Acumen: Strong commercial mindset with experience managing a P&L, setting budgets, and driving profitability.
• Client-Centric: A natural connector with demonstrated expertise in high-end clienteling and building a loyal VIP clientele.
• Communication: Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills. Polished, articulate, and confident.
• Languages: Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Proficiency in other languages (e.g., Italian, Arabic, Russian) is a significant advantage.
• Personal Attributes: A deep passion for fashion and an innate sense of style. You are highly organized, adaptable, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. A strong connection to Marseille and the Provençal region is highly desirable.
