Rolls-Royce Young Designers Competition now open
The top end automaker invites young artists to imagine the car of tomorrow through a drawing competition.
You don’t need to have a driver’s license to consider the Rolls-Royce of the future. With its new initiative, the car house is aimed at juniors and invites those under 16 to draw their vision of the future of mobility. Aspiring designers have until May 18 to share their creations on the official Rolls-Royce Young Designer Competition website.
The key to the competition? A virtual interpretation of the award-winning design by the brand’s design team. The winner will also have the privilege of enjoying a ride aboard a Rolls-Royce Phantom with a friend as soon as the containment measures are completed. A special price has also been set up for participants based in the United Kingdom: a small Greenpower electric car will be offered to the school of the winner to participate in the Greenpower Challenge, a national competition inter-school dedicated to motor sports. Several drawings will also be shared on the competition site.
“We hope that this initiative will offer a little distraction in this period of confinement and social distancing,” shared the British manufacturer. What inspire future vocations and who knows, make you want to join, one day maybe, the most exclusive Member’s Club in the world.
