Taking you through my background, my name is Rouba Akiki, I’ve been working in the Beauty Industry for the past fourteen years with AlShaya Group in Dubai.

My career path in the Beauty Industry started off with MAC cosmetics as a Store Manager, and moved forward to be an Area Manager for Debenhams.

In my current job description, I’m responsible and accountable for developing and implementing varied brand strategies and marketing plans needed for the profitable growth of the brand and company.  

My responsibilities cover wide range of the overall performance of Debenhams in the area. I regularly evaluate the current market size for any new entry brand in designated channels we operate with.

I’m very confident that my background fits perfectly as a Commercial Manager from all aspects. I do have the needed as a whole entity, leading me to implement and recognize business opportunities in which I will be placing a well-established plan, whether it revolves around the business perspective or a team’s perspective. I continuously work to strategically expand and improve certain standards and yet sticking to the stated guidelines.
