I have been working in the Fashion Industry as Global Wholesale Director and International Business Development for over 20 years in men’s and ladies contemporary and high-end brands. I am Italian and currently live in Milano but available to move abroad.
Over the years, I have built an important commercial network and a very good reputation among distributors, agents, importers, buyers etc. in Europe, USA and Asia where I have lived for several years in the past.
My role entails control of the global wholesale function, including managing the wholesale team (agents, importers, distributors, etc.), pitching new business, and developing/improving operations and systems. I make sure to meet ambitious sales growth targets and work both strategically and operationally to maintain and strengthen the wholesale distribution as it would be expected for a globally recognised luxury brand. Together with the sales organisation, I proactively develop relationships with major department stores as well as high-end multibrand stores throughout the world, ensuring lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with clients.
Being responsible and goal oriented, I am able to fulfill every function or task I am assigned by developing different strategies and making decisions. In my job performance, I always try to establish effective communication with clients and staff and manage to build a trusting relationship with the working team. My strong points are perseverance, patience and positive attitude which, along with enthusiasm and energy, make me reach my job goals and outdo myself.
