I work a Sr. Investment Manager at Amjaad Holding, which is a leading investment company in the Sultanate of Oman. Before joining Amjaad, I was in banking and real-estate investment for more than 20 years in the GCC region, with companies like Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Dubai – RTA, and ASAAS Developments. My banking experience ranges from small business finance, commercial finance, corporate finance, to mega infrastructure / oil & gas syndicated loans.
One of the major projects that that I worked on was the development of New York University- Abu Dhabi campus on Sadiyat Island. I was working with Tamkeen (a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s Executive Affairs Authority, which plans, develops, and delivers projects on behalf of Abu Dhabi Government).
I hold an MBA in finance from Indiana University with a 3.7 GPA. During my time as an MBA student, I worked as a Research / Teaching Assistant at the Division of Business at IU.
Being born and raised in the Gulf region, I am quite familiar with the traditions, customs, and cultural diversity of the GCC communities.
