The success of launching Penhaligon’s within the US market specifically Hawaii led me to expanding the niche brand throughout the Middle East, in partnership with our distributer. Initially, I was based in London for several months assisting in managing the Harrod’s, Selfridges, and Heathrow accounts while simultaneously managing the MENA region. The role eventually being based in Dubai ensured education, service, culture, and brand were globally consistent with our distributer thus growing the region by 25%.
In addition, I also held the Travel Retail Manager role for the region in partnership with PUIG. This division under my leadership, and development of the multi-national teams grew the region by 40%. The successes of this division included negotiating an exclusive fragrance for a limited time before launching in Wholesale. I also led the team that developed, negotiated, and executed the first Made to Measure boutique in the Doha Airport that has set the standard for future collaborations.
