Kering USA: Best place to work for the LGBTQ communities
The US Division of the luxury group kering usa has just been awarded the Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for its action plan in favor of inclusiveness.
Awarded by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, this distinction recognizes Kering’s policy on equal opportunities. Operated at the national level, it is based on a series of tangible criteria such as the definition and application of anti-discrimination measures, “concrete” organizational skills linked to diversity or even the public commitments of companies in terms of inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people.
“We believe that diversity and equality are essential to building a business that is both sustainable and creative,” said Laurent Claquin, President of Kering Americas. Providing a work environment where everyone can express their authenticity is a priority. We want to make sure that all employees, including those from LGBTQ communities, can feel not only accepted but included ”.
Last week, the Kering group also received an honor linked to its sustainable commitments at the 2021 World Economic Forum.
