Michael Kors Luxury Collection Brand Specialist, Geneva





As a key brand ambassador the Collection Brand Specialist embeds the Collection Strategy to leverage an existing client book to grow the collection business. In order to achieve sales goals and develop lasting client relationships, provides the highest level of customer service and complying with all company policies, procedures and directives. A proactive approach and entrepreneurial mindset are is key for success.


The responsibilities of this role are included in 3 areas:

Sales generation:

  • Lead in-store Collection sales goals and ensure the completion using EU Client Database
  • Leverage personal client book and create an EU Collection client book
  • Document client needs / requests prior to buying 4 times a year
  • Follow up and guarantee sales on above requests
  • Identify and grow the consignment business and “in suite” selling
  • Utilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise
  • Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction
  • After closing a sale, monitor all details including: shipping, alterations (if applicable) and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Analyse sales reports to identify areas of opportunity
  • Events and Social

  • Play a key role in all in-store held events and externally
  • Participating in external collection events such as Trunkshows
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as personal shoppers, stylists, concierge…
  • Maintain a keen interest in the fashion luxury industry and market trends
  • Identify new client leads
  • Build and update client book regularly using it to build a repeat customer base
  • Operations

  • Support store team with brand and product training on Collection
  • Support store with training on Experience Michael in Collection and clientelling
  • Support with stock requests / transfers to satisfy client needs
  • Implement Merchandising and VM directives
  • Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized and stocked in line with guidelines at all times
  • Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures
  • Participate in all Store Operations initiatives when needed
  • Communicate inventory needs
  • Participate in inventories

  • Extensive experience of luxury brand with women’s ready to wear
  • Able to understand and represent the brand externally
  • Able to work as a team member with strong inter personal skills
  • Excellent personal organizational skills with attention of detail and accuracy
  • Able to work under pressure and to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Adhere to work schedule, adhering to time and attendance
  • Able to work on different tasks easily – Multi-tasking
  • Ability to travel
