About confidentiality during job application/interview process
Early 2020 and already candidates are coming to us reporting somehow lack of condidentiality when having to attend “group interviews” or ” last minute career event ” during their job hunt process. They are somehow forced to attend with no other option of interviewing by employer. Recently, some candidates reported recruiter from high end department store ghosting on them when they suggested to meet up more privately. We understand the group interview dynamic for some roles, but shouldn’t candidate have a word to say about it ?

In the job posting, i would encourage employers as a best practise to mention when its a group interview. Not everyone wants to join a public event while job hunting for understandable discretion reasons.
