BVLGARI opens new store in Riyadh

BVLGARI, the magnificent Roman jeweler and master of colored gems, celebrates the opening of a new boutique at Solitaire in Riyadh on the February 12, 2025.  Solitaire is the city’s newest multi-use lifestyle destination reinventing retail as an immersive urban district set to become the ultimate shopping haven for a discerning clientele. 

Stepping into the Bvlgari boutique is akin to embarking on a sensory journey to the heart of Rome itself – where sunlight bathes marble facades and the grandeur of Roman architecture resonates in every corner. BVLGARI remains a brand that effortlessly merges the past with the present, drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of Rome’s history while redefining it through a contemporary lens. The city’s illustrious legacy and rich heritage continue to be the cornerstone of BVLGARI’s collections and the design philosophy behind its boutiques around the world. 

The boutique’s design concept offers a vision of contemporary Rome, also paying tribute to Rome’s rich heritage over the centuries. The façade, an homage to BVLGARI’s heritage, draws inspiration from a 1930’s artistic sketch of an intricate bracelet carefully preserved in the BVLGARI Heritage archives.

The geometric rhombus mesh pattern, paired with eight-pointed stars, offers a nod to the Maison’s storied legacy, while the travertino Navona portals, mirroring those of the historic Roma Via Condotti flagship boutique, frame the entrance and expansive showcases.  

A striking centerpiece within the boutique is the Serpenti Chandelier, crafted in Murano glass by the Venetians artisans of Venini. This art piece, inspired by one of BVLGARI’s most recognizable icons, symbolizes the seamless blend of the brand’s Greco-Roman roots and contemporary design, standing as a testament to both artistic heritage and modern elegance. 

The boutique features a private lounge, where guests can indulge in the brand’s signature hospitality. This versatile space accommodates numerous guests in a setting that is both refined and inviting. 

Italian design is renowned worldwide for its beauty in its form, the audacity with which precious materials, colors and sublime craftsmanship are combined, the relationship between ancient and modern, tradition and innovation, and are all qualities that characterize the Bvlgari interior design concept.
