Armani team up with Parmigiani Fleurier to create fine watches collection
The Italian designer and the Swiss manufacture announce an upcoming collaboration around a series of exceptional timepieces.
2021 will be the year of watchmaking for Armani. While the brand recently launched its home decoration service, it has now announced that it is partnering with Parmigiani Fleurier to create several fine watches that should be on the market by next November.
For the time being, little is known about this unprecedented collaboration, except that the models – which will be presented in limited and numbered editions – will be designed with four hands by Giorgio Armani and Michel Parmigiani, founder of the launched manufacture. in 1996 in Fleurier, in the canton of Neuchâtel.
“The collaboration with Parmigiani Fleurier came about naturally,” says the designer. We share the same passion for perfection and the search for beauty as the expression of timeless values. This series of watches is the synthesis of my vision, made of precise lines and exceptional materials applied to unique products. I believe that an object that expresses aesthetic excellence, quality and craftsmanship is bound to last forever. I found in Parmigiani Fleurier the perfect partner to experiment with a new language. “If Armani had already experienced Haute Joaillerie last year, this is indeed the first time that the designer has taken part in such a project in this market segment.
